Using Storytelling as a Framework for Teaching Self-Advocacy, Soft Skills, and Work Readiness

When: Monday through Friday, July 27 - August 7


Where: Online, via Google Classroom


What: 10 days of engaging group and one-on-one instruction to teach various elements of artistic storytelling that will prepare students to grow confidence in communication through presentations, auditions, critiques, and more.

Teaching approaches will include:

  • Daily presentations from disability self-advocates, artists and entrepreneurs 

  • Daily at-home projects that stretch the limits of students’ imaginations and require unique approaches to using available resources

  • Daily opportunities for professional communication and peer interaction

  • Daily opportunities to practice skills for professional development, including presenting, interviewing, teamwork, etc.

2.  After we receive your application form below, we will reach out with additional information as well as an invoice to the email address you provide. The camp fee is $1800 and we will request a $400 deposit to be paid shortly after you apply.

We do have funding support for families who have a financial need and strong partnerships with school districts and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for those who qualify, so please reach out to us if you have any concerns about the camp fee.
