student enrichment & enrollment program
an intensive coaching program for pittsburgh's future leaders
Evolve Coaching is recruiting low-income*, neurodiverse** students with an interest in applying to at least one post-secondary program in 2023.
​
Applicants can be rising high school seniors, recent graduates, or community college students from Allegheny and neighboring counties.
​
Coaching and workshops will take place from June 2022 - April 2023, both online and in-person.
Bus passes can be provided.
​
Chosen participants will receive (at no cost):
-
135 hours of individualized support via one-on-one coaching sessions, group meetings, and workshops for students & parents
-
An overnight campus experience at a local Pittsburgh University

Support with applying to at least one postsecondary program

Help navigating resources for future support
*Low-income = household income at or below 3 times the federal poverty level.
**Neurodiverse = autism, Asperger's, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, executive functioning disorder, nonverbal learning disability, etc. Those who suspect they may have one of these diagnoses but are not officially diagnosed are also encouraged to apply.

Highly Qualified Coaches
Evolve coaches hold relevant master’s degrees and specialize in supporting young adults with developmental disabilities including, but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorders (including Asperger’s Syndrome), ADHD, and anxiety disorders.
A Personalized Approach
We believe that one size does not fit all. Our coaches work with you to help you achieve your personal goals, whether it be improved self advocacy, organization, time management, or another skill.
One-on-One Coaching
Meet your coach twice a week on campus or virtually via secure video conferencing.
Strong Relationships with Colleges & Universities
As a Pittsburgh-based organization, we regularly work with students and faculty at 13 local universities. We also support out-of-state clients through online coaching, and can help you navigate your campus services.
Social Support
Our college group meets weekly to discuss the changing landscape of college life. Learn tips for making strong connections with others and advocating at the college level.

Access to Peer Mentors and Body Doubles
Share a meal or explore campus with a peer, or take advantage of "body double" sessions. Similar to an online study hall, body double sessions offer the space for you to finish that paper or assignment that's been hanging over your head, reload funds to your dining card, or send that email that's been weighing on you with the support of an evolve team member cheering you on.
